I have been quite the busy bee lately, all involving A Daily Pinch. I am working on an entire Halloween food series for families, parties, what have you, complete with recipes and photos. Halloween has always held a soft spot for me as I was born just a few days before.
This past Friday I celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary. My husband is a wonderful man and I cherish every moment with him. He is my soul mate, my best friend, and the best companion a girl could want. I thank God everyday for allowing our paths to cross. We went to the Melting Pot for dinner and our little man tagged along with us. He’s not so little anymore. He just turned 9. We had a great time.
I also have a trip coming up to Old Salem in Winston-Salem, NC. Founded in 1776, Old Salem is a living history museum that interprets this restored Moravian community. Declared a in 1966, it provides a memorable educational and historical experience. In all seriousness, I totally geek out over things like this and can’t wait! I am adding extra SD cards to the camera bag and a couple of back up batteries.
Thursday brings “Accoutrement” hosted by the ever delightful and . I am very excited to see what they are showing for fall and teaching new ways to handle my wardrobe and cosmetic choices. I am heading there, camera in hand, to give everyone a preview into these two fine purveyors of taste in the Queen City. Hope to see all of you there!
