Baby It’s Cold
It’s cold. Seriously cold. North Carolina is in a cold snap unlike any I have seen in years! This got me to thinking about my winter routines. Those that include skin, hair, fitness and food.
This coming week, I am going to be focusing on these items. Looking good, feeling good and you can integrate most of it with the whole family. My husband and son both have very dry skin and mine is sensitive bordering on schizophrenic at best.
Local weatherman, Brad Panovich, just tweeted “If we hit 19° before midnight we will have 7 nights in a row in the teens, should be 10 in a row by Mon morning setting all time CLT Record”.
Which means extra special treatment since we are used to weather this cold. I guess it’s my acclimation to the area that I live in, but I am missing 50 degrees and sunny in January. However, it gives me so much more respect to the hardy stock that my cold weather brethren are.
